IoSafe is already known for its line of desktop and server drives that are both waterproof and fireproof (we currently have one of the company's SoloPRO drives in the Orbiting HQ undergoing testing).
In fact, the company even let members of the press shoot up its drives with guns to prove that they are as rugged as it says they are.

The driver tells the fable of the scorpion who used the frog to cross the river, transforming the garment into a character in the film. Based on an idea by Ryan Gosling, Nicolas Winding Refn and screenwriter Hossein Amini added a passage inspired by the jacket.

Here the scorpion acts as a symbolic body double that sticks to the skin of the Driver who has become obsessed with protecting Irene, the woman he loves. Considered as an amulet of protection and healing, the scorpion also represents the all-consuming passion and the heightened emotions that transform the character into a poisonous and ferocious creature. Released in 1964, the short film captured the imagination of the two artists, who adopted the symbol. While Nicolas Winding Refn and his favorite actor were on an observation trip to a garage, they watched Scorpio Rising, a video by Kenneth Anger featuring men working on cars. Later, the actor, costume designer and director wanted to add a personal touch to the piece to give it a unique style.
But Erin Benach wanted to create her own take on the jacket and make it more fitted to suit Ryan Gosling's rigid character. The actor set his sights on " souvenir jackets", these satin-finished bomber jackets with embroidery on the back, the fruit of the encounter between the American military and post-war Japan. For Ryan Gosling, he imagined a costume that married these two notions, making the character as dangerous as he is visual and alluring. Nicolas Winding Refn is continuously inspired by this period and this particular rock group which mixes the glamour of disco and hardcore rock. The model consists of a white satin fabric, yokes that structure the shoulders, elastic woolen cuffs and of course, a yellow scorpion embroidered on the back. No less than thirteen jackets were made, all adapted to the build of Ryan Gosling through various linings. In collaboration with costume designer Erin Benach and the director, the actor designed the jacket he wore in the film. Though many fans could hardly identify with the dangerous life of the Driver, they gladly took inspiration from the bomber jacket to help make it their own. A coincidence, perhaps, but it was difficult not to connect this new wave of appreciation for the bomber jacket to Ryan Gosling's look in Drive. This is the case for the satin bomber jacket worn by Ryan Gosling in Drive. Therefore, it was to be expected that costumes would take an important place in the construction of the film's story. With its heightened violence, rich images of a Los Angeles seldom seen in movies and hypnotizing chases, Drive is an extremely visual film. Critically acclaimed, adored by the public and finding cult classic status since its opening week, the work of Nicolas Winding Refn is one of those rare but universal movies that grips audiences across the board. If we had to remember just one film released in 2011, it would have to be, Drive.
